Taping can be a very effective technique to send sensory input to the brain (via skin) to improve sensory output and help improve movement. It will act as an external cue, helping to improve proprioceptive awareness. In addition, the tape will create a “lift” of the skin which allows improved fluid dynamics and helps to improve circulation and reduce pain.
